Day light savings is our favorite – except for the sleep we lose!
That said, here are a few reason why we love to spring forward for day light savings!
Why We Love Day Light Savings
Ok, this one is pretty obvious. We love the sun, just like most people do.
There are so many benefits to more sunlight that we hear about all the time, but take for granted.
For instance, the sun is a great source for Vitamin D.
If you ever notice how you feel during the winter months, you may feel your bones a bit sore. That’s because of a Vitamin D deficiency.
It’s also been proven that more sun light can help counter problems such as seasonal depression.
(One thing you can do to counter seasonal depression is to use light therapy! We have some amazing diffusers that can be helpful with that!)
More Time Outside
One of the benefits of our office location is the amount of parks and trails around us!
It’s not surprising to find some of our team taking their lunch breaks either taking a stroll around the office, city, or one of the parks near by, once the sun is out more.
Once the warmth accompanies the sun’s presence, it’s not uncommon for our leaders to bring a snowcone or ice cream truck to the office, either!
More Sun with Our Family
We play hard, but only because we work hard.
Sometimes that means longer nights at the office so we can meet our goals and make sure our customers are well taken care of.
On those nights, it can be hard for coming home. With day light savings time, it’s nice to know that even on a longer day at the office, we’ll still have plenty of day light to spend with our family.
We Can See Smiles More Clearly!
Really, we see the smiles just as easily during the day because we’re inside with the lights on. We just love to see the smiles of our customers and our team!
Day light savings is just a great excuse to recognize the hard work our team does and the appreciation of our customers.
So as we get ready for spring and day light savings, we want to say thank you, and we cannot wait to serve you more this season!
