Spring Fever: Custom Totes and Bags

Spring Fever: Custom Totes and Bags

Although it may not feel like it outside today, spring is on it’s way. It has been great having a cold winter this year (I’m a girl who is a fan of having all 4 seasons), but I have to say that I have finally gotten to that point where I am ready for some warmth. I love flowers in bloom, afternoon walks in the neighborhood, drives to the beach before the heat gets too much, reading a good book on the patio, picnics in the park and just getting to spend a lot more time outdoors.

In order to do any of my favorite spring activities, you need a good tote bag to carry around all your lose items. Whether you are toting things to the park, pool, beach, or just walking around the neighborhood, you need something to carry your loose items.

Here are a few of my favorite promotional totes and bags for spring.

The Eco-Responsible Enviro-shopper is a great versatile bag. It collapsible, light and thin, so you can put carry it with you wherever you go. Custom polypropylene totes are the perfect accessory for the farmer’s market in the spring to fill up with fresh fruit, veggies and bread.

Everyone needs an inexpensive personalized drawstring bag to carry around with ease. The Non-woven sports pack is essential for sporting events, bike rides, or any event where you need to carry a few things but need full hand and arm range.

Who said the custom fanny pack was out of style? Retro products are all the rage, and the promotional fanny pack is no exception. I love to go antiquing and out to the flea market when the spring weather rolls in. The promotional budget fanny pack is a great item to keep my cash in while I browse the market for treasures.

Imprinted jute and cotton totes are probably my favorite type of bag. I love the natural feel and look of them, and find them to be very trendy and fashionable. The Promotional Juco Eco-responsible Tote Bag is a great bag to take with you to the beach, park, gym, in the car, etc.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Custom Trade Show Giveaways.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Custom Trade Show Giveaways.

ASI Trade Show

As the new year kicks off into full swing, you may be planning an exhibit in an upcoming trade show. If you are looking to attract some new business, trade shows are a great way to accomplish this but at a cost. While they are not cheap, they could be your company’s leading source of new business this year.

If your business is participating in a trade show, one thing you are definitely going to need are a few promotional product giveaways. In case you did not make enough of a lasting impression at your exhibit, send your potential customers home with something to remember you. Below are a few do’s and don’ts of custom trade show giveaways.

1. DO Pick a product with a large, clear imprint area. After spending money on a trade show, the last thing you want to do is pass out giveaways with a logo that is too small or illegible. Trade shows are full of competitors. If the potential customer goes home and can’t read your logo, chances are they made contact with another one of your competitors at the trade show. Bottom line: It is very important for your logo to stand out.

2. DON’T pick a large, bulky item. Bigger doesn’t always mean better. If they can’t carry it, they are probably not going to want it. You need to chose items that are compact, lightweight, and can fit in a large tote bag. If you have some cool larger items, display them at the show or do a raffle for one person to win.

3. DO pick items you know they won’t immediately want to throw away. You need to select useful items with a purpose. Value is essential. If the potential client sees value in an item, they won’t be looking for the nearest trash bin once they are out of your sight. Imprinted acrylic tumblers or other custom drinkware are great options, as well as promotional pens, journals, and polypropylene totes.

4.  DON’T pick items that don’t apply. Even though there are a lot of trendy, unique items on the market right now that doesn’t necessarily mean they are great way to build your particular brand.  If they do not apply to your audience, they will not be very effective. You want these potential customers to go home, and rummage through their promotional tote bag of giveaways and know exactly who you are based on your brand and the giveaway items.  There needs to be a direct correlation between your company and the product you gave them to take home.
