Thirsty Thursdays: The Promotional Water Bottle

Introducing… Thirsty Thursdays. A new post we are going to start doing every thursday about our favorite drinkware. For our first Thirsty Thursday post we are talking about a huge favorite.. the water bottle!

The promotional water bottle has been a favorite giveaway among customers over the past number of years. When you receive drinkware, no matter what it says chances are you are going to use it. For this reason, personalized water bottles are a great option for marketing your company, services, or website. Wholesale water bottles come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes.

The Classic Water Bottle

The classic or basic water bottle is the typical water bottle we have all grown to love. We love to carry it with us in the gym, to the office, in the car or in our purses just to name a few. They are made out of plastic and our easy to grip and grow.

Custom stainless steel water bottles are long lasting, quality made promotional products. They are the ideal giveaway with a high value for a low price per item. Another plus to the stainless steel bottle is the fact that they are environmentally friendly. We have a seen in a rise in the number of reusable stainless steel bottles purchased due to the fact some customers want to cut down on the number of plastic water bottles used. Customers also love the cool hues these bottles come in!

Promotional Drinkware for you and your favorite furry one too!

I love finding new products that are multi-purpose items. One of the hottest promotional products this year is the Cosmo. It’s an 18 oz. double wall insulated bottle that is BPA-free! It comes with an 12 oz. threaded cup/lid and can be used for hot or cold beverages. The Cosmo is available in a wide variety of colors (Clear, Blue, Aqua, Purple, Red, Graphite, Tangerine, Apple and Fuchsia.)

The other day my husband and I took our puppy on a picnic. It was on one of the hottest days we have had so far this spring, so I knew we had to have some water for the pup. I didn’t want to carry a bowl or tupperware, so I decided to take the Cosmo along. I filled it up with ice cold water and poured a little at a time into the cup/lid for her to drink out of. It was portable and easy to carry along without making a mess.

Another use for this particular cup is to take to the beach or the lake. Everyone likes to take some sort of cocktail or beverage with them to the beach or while boating on the lake. The cup is ideal for sipping out of without having to hold on to the 18 oz. bottle. This way to you are able to keep it out of the sun, so the entire bottle avoids getting warm at once.

My favorite thing about this particular custom drinkwareitem is the cup/lid. I haven’t seen a ton of products like this in the industry which causes it to stand out, and causes it to be more multi-purpose than just your average acrylic tumbler!

“Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag,” Promotional Drawstring Bags

One of our most popular items for the last few years has been the promotional drawstring bag. I was cooking up ideas for this particular post last week, and noticed people had them everywhere. I people using them at the gym, going into Starbucks, and leaving school or a sporting event.

Not only do people use them at the gym, some gyms even sell them with their logo on the front. I noticed this week that our gym sells them. Now that the briefcase is kind of a thing of the past, people use all sorts of bags to transport their necessities. The imprinted drawstring bag is great for the guy (or girl) on the go. My younger brother is a sophomore in high school, and is a huge fan of the drawstring bag. He uses them at school and to put his soccer cleats in for practice. When I was a cheerleader back in the day, we were give a drawstring bag to put our gear in for the games.

Marathons, Triathlons, and bike races, such as the MS150, seem to be on the rise. I ran a measly 5k a few years back, and when I went to get my tag to check in I was given a drawstring bag full of promotional products. This is one reason I feel like they are a great giveaway for sporting events and races.

“Bears need people. People need bears.” | Custom Stuffed Toys

One thing in the promotional product industry that I feel isn’t always a huge seller are imprinted stuffed animals. For some reason, they just don’t seem to sell too well which may be attributed to price. One of our top vendors just came out with this super soft Plush Big Paw bear. It comes in 14 popular shirt colors, and is at a great price point! These cute, cuddly bears area a great way to show your logo and get your message across.

Promotional stuffed bears are the perfect giveaway for birthdays, school carnivals and events, hospitals and churches. Ever since Build A Bear Workshop opened several years back, I feel like at some point in a child’s life they want to have a party where they get to make there very own teddy bear or have a party that has something to do with a bear. The prices have gone up significantly since I made my first bear in the late 90s. A much cheaper route would be to buy this teddy bear with a custom logo for the chid’s party on it’s shirt to give out to all the guests!

School carnivals and other school events are another great opportunity to give away a stuffed animal. They always need prizes, and what child wouldn’t want a bear with their school logo on the tee.

When I was in early middle school, I remember my mom had a minor surgery and the hospital gave her a little teddy bear to give to me. It had the hospitals logo on the tee, and I kept it for several years. This is why I think stuffed bears are especially great for hospitals especially if it is a children’s hospital. Sick and scared children like to have something to hold onto if they are undergoing surgery or they have a close family member who is sick.

Churches are another organization that would do great with a stuffed animal giveaway. There are always children in the nursery that would love a little teddy bear. They would also be great for a church carnival or to be used for missions.

Take Me to Prom | Promotional Products Perfect for the Prom

Well it has officially been six years since my last prom. It feels like it has been much longer than that though. Before this past year, I feel like it has been forever since I needed a formal gown (I got married last year so naturally I needed something formal.) I do kind of miss all the hype of your high school prom. I remember how fun it was to go with my mom and a few of my closest friends to find the perfect dress every year (preferably one that no one else would be wearing) and of course the best shoes. Pictures, dinner, the prom itself, and a trip to the beach or lake is usually what the event consisted of.

Every prom (to my knowledge) always seems to have a theme. One year I remember it was  ”A Night in Paris” complete with an Eiffel Tower and everything. I know what you are thinking… very original, but to a sophomore in high school it was a blast!

Along with the theme promotional products of some sort are a must! Oh how, I wish the neon sunglasses would have made a comeback while I was in school because they are awesome for the prom. Even if your school isn’t providing them, how cool would it be to get them made yourself for you, your date, and all your friends.

I remember one year they had and imprinted tin of mints of the table for guests to use and take home with them. Another prom standard is balloons. They are little cheesy in my opinion, but the prom always seems to be which is what makes it so fun! Also, there is usually a table set up with snacks and non-alcholoic drinks. I think the mood stadium cups would be perfect and a great favor!

Teacher Appreciation Week 2012 | Customized Gift Ideas

With Teacher Appreciation Week just around the corner, I thought I would share a few  creative DIY ideas for packaging and sprucing up Promotional Teacher Gifts!

1. Promotional Beach Towel Gift- This one is pretty easy. All you have to do is roll up a beach towel up. Next, wrap your magazine of choice around the rolled up towel. I used our Spring/Summer Idea Book (request your copy here!) Attach sunscreen. I chose a sunscreen packet that is thin and easy to throw in your beach bag, pocket, or purse. Tie with twine and attach a tag and you are done!

2. Imprinted Highlighter Gift- For this one, I just used a clear plastic gift bag to package four vibrant highlighters. I used a typewriter to type on a shipping tag “Having you as a teacher has been the HIGHLIGHT of my year!” I attached everything with twine.

3. Customized Mood Cup Gift- Here is another simple teacher’s gift. Like the highlighter gift, I used a clear plastic gift bag. I typed another gift tag. This one saying, ” Thank you for quenching my thirst for KNOWLEDGE.” Tie with ribbon and you are done!

4. Promotional Acrylic Tumbler Gift- For the last gift, I simply filled an acrylic tumbler with several different color pens. I tied a gift tag around the straw with a shipping tag. I stamped the shipping tag with a “thank you” stamp and typed a quote that stated “Teachers plant seeds of knowledge that grow forever.”

I hope these ideas helped as Teacher Appreciation Week sneaks up on you!

Dressing up your Customized Tumbler: Easter Style

Is it really April? Oh how fast a year seems to fly by. I feel like it was just Christmas, and we are already four months into the now semi-new year. I don’t know about you, but I am always looking forward to the next holiday because it gives me a reason to brainstorm crafty things to make up.

My Easter themed idea was to fill one of my favorite promotional acrylic tumblers with Easter candy. Simple, right? It’s not an overly creative idea, but I did like how it turned out. When I was a kid the Easter Bunny used to just throw handfuls of candy in my basket… no big deal, I would eat everything that day anyway. I do, however, think this is a great idea because it’s essentially a gift inside a gift! I also think these are great gifts for customers and colleagues for this time of year! You could also attach a tag around the straw for an added touch!

Milk + Cookies, Imprinted Milk Bottles

Last week I was feeling inspired and in the mood to bake. I had this milk bottle sample laying on my desk, and decided to take it home with me as inspiration. I baked my favorite chocolate chip cookies, and decided to set up a little photo shoot.

I’ve seen a recent rise in the popularity of milk bottles on the internet (Pinterest, blogs, online shops) and around town. They are perfect for a party to serve milk + cookies or lemonade with a candy stripped straw and tied with a cute tag of some sort.

I was ecstatic when I found that we sold milk bottles on our site. I also think they are perfect for a cupcake shop, bakery, or sandwich shop. They have a nice imprint area that is ideal for making the bottles personalized to your liking.

Spring Break 2012: Beach Style | Great Beach Giveaway Ideas

Two weeks ago, we got to relive our school days and celebrate spring break at the beach with my brothers in high school and college. While we were there, I did some shopping and came across some neat promotional products I felt were worth sharing. Sometimes all it takes to love a product is to have the right imprint.

1. I love the short, stubby 12 oz. Tritan double wall tumbler. It also comes with an option lid and straw option. Also, it is available in 16 oz. It keeps your cold drinks cooler and your hot drinks hotter!

2. I am also a huge fan of these imprinted floating keychains. What a great way to keep your brand afloat! Floating keychains are great for the beach, pool, lake, pond (fishing), etc.

3. I’ve said it before, and I will say it again… the ceramic diner mug is still one of my all time favorite products. It looks amazing with a simple, crisp logo. It makes drinking your morning cup of coffee at the beach that much sweeter (assuming you take yours with cream + sugar.)

4. Lastly, a stainless steel travel mug is a must at the beach. Whether you are driving around, walking to the beach, or riding a bike you need something portable to put your favorite drink in while you are on the go.

All this talk about the beach makes me itching to go back!

get your coffee fix.

I don’t know about you, but my day revolves around coffee. I am not a Coke or any kind of soda in general drinker, but I do need my coffee every day. For instance, today I have yet to run to the local Starbucks and get my Iced Nonfat Latte and boy am I dragging!

When you go to a coffee shop, though, it is surprisingly not just about the coffee. It is also about the experience. In college I loved to study at Starbucks (it was a much greater alternative to the library.) People love to meet at Starbucks to talk business, school, life or anything else in general. Don’t believe me? Look around next time you are in your local coffee shop. People like to browse the drinks, sweets or snacks, and the merchandise. Coffee shops are relatively good about setting trends for the latest and greatest drinkware must-have.

Let’s look at the acrylic tumbler. Starbucks made this widely popular a few years back when they designed it to look like a reusable version of their iced beverage cups. Today they come in a wide variety of colors, textures, sizes and shapes.

You know when entering a coffee shop you are going to cross paths with a ceramic mug. I love a short and wide cup over a taller mug. I am, however, a huge fan of the retro diner mug. It has been around for years, and never seems to go out of style. We have also seen a huge rise in the ceramic or plastic mug with the silicone lid. It looks like your average to-go cup, but it is reusable!

Coffee shops also have a variety of other products. It wouldn’t be a coffee shop if they didn’t sell bags of the coffee itself! Another must product is the coffee sleeve. The last thing you want is to burn your hands while grabbing your to-go cup. Companies have also began to manufacture a number of reusable sleeves to throw in your purse or car (we have several on our site!) I have noticed that a few of my favorite hole in the wall coffee shops have shown a lot of burlap! I, for one, love burlap and these little bags are to die for!

REMEMBER…Custom acrylic tumblers and ceramic mugs are not just for coffee shops. They are perfect gifts, party favors, company giveaways, and more!
